Up for sale is a rare, iconic, and highly collectible piece of horological history – a vintage Bulova Accutron tuning fork wrist watch dating back to 1974 (marked N4 on the case back).
This timepiece features the legendary Swiss-made electronic tuning fork mechanism (Caliber 2302 with 13 jewels), a date complication at 3 o'clock, and an original signed crown featuring the famous Accutron tuning fork symbol. It comes fitted on a high-quality vintage German-made stainless steel mesh bracelet with a clasp signed "Fischer Glissando D.B.G.M.1943663".

Designed by Max Hetzel, it bypassed traditional balance wheel mechanics in favor of an electronically driven tuning fork vibrating at 360 Hz. This innovation made the Accutron the world's first fully electronic watch and set a new benchmark for accuracy long before standard quartz took over the world in the late 1970s.
