This iconic timepiece was produced in the late 1970s / 1980s by the 2nd Moscow Watch Factory. This is a desirable export version, featuring original English inscriptions on the dial.

The watch features a stunning drop-shaped gold-plated case with textured ornamental detailing that seamlessly flows into the elegant fixed top bail. The deep burgundy/brown dial is decorated with clean golden markers and hands, protected by a high-grade acrylic crystal. Inside, it houses a reliable, in-house Slava 1600 manual-wind movement with 17 ruby jewels. The watch comes complete with its authentic, original matching gold-plated chain (76 cm), allowing it to be worn immediately as a magnificent functional necklace. It is ticking strong and keeping good time!

• When adjusting the hands of your watch, move them in a clockwise direction only to prevent stress on the gear train.
• Be careful and gentle when adjusting the movement speed (faster or slower). Don't make sharp movements, and don't touch other components in the movement.
• Every 2-3 years it is recommended to service, clean, and oil vintage watches to keep them running accurately for decades to come.
• Keep your watch away from strong magnetic fields (large speakers, modern computers, magnets) since magnetic exposure can alter the balance spring performance.
• Vintage mechanical watches naturally experience a daily deviation error of up to a few minutes. An accuracy of +/- 3 to 5 minutes a day is considered excellent for a classic timepiece.
